Registering for an event through Jamboree Atlas means agreeing to the following.
1. Information Collected. To register you for this event we collect your name, email, age, gender, DUPR rating (or self-rated skill level), and your answers to the scouting and draft-status questions. This is used to confirm your entry, seed and organize the event, contact you about the event, and process payment where applicable.
2. Historical Records. We keep event registration and results as part of our historical records, so past events, participation, and standings can be looked up later. This is a permanent record.
3. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability. I agree to assume all risks and expenses due to injury or health issue that may occur as a result of my participation in the event and/or travel to and from said event.
As part of my participation in this event, I waive any and all claims I may have now and in the future, and release from all liability the JHPS (Jericho Hill Pickleball School), its representatives or coaches for any personal injury, death, property damage, or financial or personal loss sustained to me as a result of my participation in this event.
4. Payment. Where an event requires payment, you may pay by card (processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details) or by e-transfer, in which case your registration is marked pending until we confirm receipt.
5. Photos & Video. Photos or videos may be taken during event play. If you have checked the photo/video consent box above, they may also be used for promotional, educational, or showcase purposes, consistent with the Jamboree Atlas Terms & Consent. That consent is optional and is not required to register, and you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us.
6. Access, Correction & Deletion. You may request a copy, correction, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting hq@pbjamboree.com. We will act on requests within a reasonable period, generally within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for backups, fraud prevention, or security.
7. Governing Law. These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
8. Contact. hq@pbjamboree.com.
